Wright’s ribbon used to have gold coins on trim for sale but I can’t find them. I’ve also found on the net belly dancers use them but they are very expensive. I just need about 20 of them. Thanks for any help.

I see a gold coin on Ebay for twice what mine sold for
It was graded as proof .69 and sealed by the grading
company. What does proof mean?

I am interested in buying some gold coins, like the American Eagle, Canadian Maple, etc.

I want to buy it for investment.

So it is it necessary/important that I get them in their orginally sealed state (as from the mint) and with a authenicity cerficate of BU (brilliant uncirculated)?

Or I can just get them in uncirculated conditions? and still be able to sell them with equal values as the sealed ones?

I have 50 Gold coins (1990 Irish 50 ECU) that I plan to sell on Ebay. I’ve heard that some graders will give you a higher grade if you pay them more. I want to know if it is worth it to take my coins to a grader.

My boyfriend collects coins and I was hoping to add something to his collection for his birthday. I don’t know much about it, but I know he only has one gold coin and he wants to expand that. I want to get him something interesting as well as valuable. He wanted a $50 gold proof with an Indian on one side and a buffalo on the other. Its .999 pure gold MS70 and it’s going for 700 dollars atleast online. I can’t afford something that expensive.

I am looking for a list of coins and hopefully links so I can see what they look like. Preferably gold and U.S. coins. Thanks!

I saw that a law was passed through the US mint that it is illegal to melt US coins, but specifically discussed pennies, nickels, and other coins in circulation. Does anyone know if it i also illegal to melt gold coins like twenty dollar coins from the 1890’s to 1900’s? If you could please include specific references for your answer.
I know that these coins are more valuable as coins and not gold melt, but i would still like to know the laws.
